Tom grew up in Twickenham, a stone’s throw away from the National Rugby Stadium, so it was only natural that he became a vibrant rugby and sports fan from a young age. This was evident by being victorious in the national football cup for Richmond College, where his A-Levels included Maths, Biology and Psychology.
It was the latter that Tom decided to study at Warwick University and fuelled a topical dissertation subject on whether environmental attitudes affect the products that we buy. According to Tom’s research it is the price of the product, rather than efficiency, that is more important to the consumer. We’ll let you make your own mind up about that one! Furthermore, Tom’s passion for football continued as he became the president of the football club and had the opportunity to play Liverpool Under 18’s (although he didn’t get a touch of the ball for the whole 90 minutes…).
University sailed by for Tom and after graduation he turned to working in his family’s start-up company for music and events in order to save up for his trip of a lifetime; Nepal and India for 2 months. Without doubt the highlights for Tom were trekking through the Himalayas and playing cricket with a group of monks on a helipad!
Tom is an avid Chelsea fan and frequent music festival goer and his charm, charisma and buoyancy make him a fantastic asset to the Programmatic team.
