“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sophie grew up in the small Northamptonshire village of Everdon, a village formally owned by Eton college where no doubt Sophie would have attended had her parents not felt that Cheltenham Ladies College would be more fitting. After school Sophie attended a finishing school in Switzerland (actually she did a ski season but that is a little less lady like) before attending Nottingham University to read Modern Languages, specialising in French and German. During her degree Sophie spent six months living in Paris working for a translation company and a further six months in Germany within a Bill Gates funded tech start-up.

It wasn't until she left university to travel the world that she settled within a marketing agency in Malaysia where she focussed on business intelligence and CRM analysis. After being in this role for about a year she was introduced by accident to the world of programmatic display and she was hooked. Sophie looked at the centres of excellence in programmatic and found that London was leading the way, so this international bird flew back to blighty and ended up at Periscopix.
