Rebecca grew up in the prestigious Bradfield College; with her parents as teachers she had academia in the blood and through her formative years excelled across all disciplines, exploiting the home advantage to become Head Girl. After traveling the globe she trekked off to Edinburgh University to read mathematics with a strong bias towards statistics. Through her time at university she ran many advanced mathematical projects which culminated in calculating the age of the universe (with +/- 1% tolerance) using Einstein's equations but applying them to a 4 dimensional space. On the day that her work was published the recognised age of the universe changed from 13.2 to 13.8 billion years!
When Rebecca is not gauging the age of the space time continuum, she is our go-to stats geek, working across a range of our complex accounts in the Real Time Bidding team. For fun, it's all about trekking in far off places or vexillology (fun with flags); she has an encyclopaedic knowledge and can name them all (testing this is positively encouraged).
