As a proud Essex lad from Billericay (yes, of “Gavin & Stacey” fame); Oli is a family-man at heart. His Italian heritage means Nan is the “godmother” of the clan, hosting weekly Sunday dinners for everyone to enjoy.
Family may be a reason why Oli chose to stay close to home for university, studying Business Management & Marketing at London’s Brunel University (OK, technically it’s Middlesex but they put London in the name!). Brunel is a great place for cultural awareness and intercultural communication – take for example, the Mexican-themed party where Oli met his tennis team.
Sport plays a big part in Oli’s life – from his university tennis career, to wandering around a golf course chewing the fat with pals, or his main passion: snowboarding (with no less than three trips planned for the 2017-18 ski season!) – staying active is important.
Oli is also a self-taught pianist and drummer – although once he moves out of home, he may have to give up his loud hobbies.
Following graduation, Oli travelled South East Asia; taking in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bali. The highlight of the trip was spending a day in an elephant sanctuary – not riding but sharing a mud bath and getting roped into a wrestling match with 4-month-old calf (they are surprisingly strong)! The trip was a great opportunity to indulge his passion for cultural exploration – in food… especially breakfast…
Merkle | Periscopix gained Oli with some miles on his soul and a wealth of knowledge not only about the marketing industry, but about the world. So, if you want an account that’s managed with equal parts cultural sensitivity and active vigour, Oli is your man!
