They say Matt comes from a land down under, and that his analytics solutions never blunder. If you listen he’ll bring the thunder, so don’t worry, he’s got you covered. He doesn’t surf though and has a bit of a complicated diet but he’ll still smile and give you a gluten-free vegemite sandwich.
In all seriousness though, Matt has taken up a paleo/keto lifestyle and loves to cook. The secret ingredient? A hearty smattering of heavy metal, turned up loud. His main cuisines tend to be Italian and French, but he switches up the menu too often for any signature dishes of note. Except, perhaps his Bulletproof Coffee, which needs… blending.
Matt’s also a keen yogi, practicing Ashtanga yoga for over 10 years. Matt loves yoga for its meditative properties, the fact it will “stretch muscles you didn’t know you had” and that it’s just plain good exercise. He’s actually one of the few in the GA team who has braved, and continued with, Periscopix’s weekly yoga sessions!
Matt studied Law & English literature at Monash University in Melbourne, but found his passion for law just wasn’t there and the industry moved just a little too slowly for his tastes. He’s always had a keen interest in tech and worked on various web dev projects during his time. He’s also currently working towards a masters in Psychology, involving a bunch of statistical modelling and probability work. His love for tech and scripting combined with a desire to understand the human mind make him a perfect fit for our solutions team.
