“It was my life – like all lives, mysterious and irrevocable and sacred. So very close, so very present, so very belonging to me. How wild it was, to let it be.”

Cheryl Strayed

Maisam is the eldest in her family, with four younger siblings. She has always been the responsible one, be it taking care of her siblings or her many cats.

On the weekend you can find this superstar with her nose stuck in a book – normally non-fiction – and eating her way through London. As Maisam likes to say, she likes food so she “pursues it” – passionately. Her favourite food items are described as anything spicy, cheesy and carby. With comfort food comprising of fajitas, deep dish pizza and chips with baked beans. Not only is she great at eating, she can cook too!

Maisam’s skills don’t end at the kitchen as she can sing beautifully and tries her best to keep up with this hobby by practicing on the weekends.

Maisam’s journey to working at Merkle Periscopix is, with all due respect to everyone else’s, probably one of the most fascinating and laden with achievements. Born into the conflict-ridden Gaza strip, Maisam survived three wars, has four degrees and knows five languages! She was also the first Gazan to get an internship at the US Congress, Blimey!

Thankfully for us, Maisam decided against entering further into the murky world of US politics, and instead puts the education gained from her numerous degrees to use managing PPC accounts here at MPX.
