As the eldest in a household of 13 children Lydia became good at organising children and making sure everyone remembers to eat their lunch, go to the toilet and wash their hands. This has come in more handy than you might expect in a team of web analytics boys. When not moderating Ed’s office renditions of Motown classics and 90’s RnB flops she can often be found rolling her eyes at ANOTHER one of Chris’s terrible jokes.
Lydia’s first life as fine art teacher in her native Uganda lacked the crucial computer-time she craved and so she made the brave decision to move to the UK and the wonderful place they call Periscopix. What followed was textbook route to web analytics heaven; first she chased a First Class Honours in Information Systems with a Post Grad diploma in Business Administration, then she rounded it out with several post-grad courses in Google Analytics, SEO and Big Data, and finally she secured several internships working as a web analyst at prominent charities such as Comic Relief. All of which made her an easy fit for the GA team.
An ideal day for Lydia would be relaxing with friends, not shopping and not eating chocolate. She’s not a girly-girl ok!
