Jenny was the first proud Scot in the Merkle | Periscopix offices. She joins us all the way from sunny Ayr, Scotland, where she grew up in a family where both her parents are doctors. Tired of the constant debates over the dinner table about the nutritional value of a deep fried Mars Bar, Jenny decided to abandon the family tradition and join our fledgling recruitment team here in London.
Jenny has certainly taken one of the more interesting academic paths on her route towards recruiting our team of digital media experts. She began by studying Criminology and Sociology at Stirling University, but unperturbed after four years of studying the inner workings of Scotland’s most depraved psychopaths, she continued her exploration into the human mind by studying Gender and Women’s Studies for her Masters at Trinity College Dublin. You can probably give her theories behind ‘Making a Murderer’ a little more credence than the rest of your timeline…
After finishing university, Jenny did the not at all stereotypical travelling gap year, where she went to Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. In Kiwi-Land, she did one of the world’s biggest bungy jumps where you fall for approximately eight and a half seconds! Since coming back, she has had a taste of recruiting in the financial services market, but always knew she wanted to play a role in an internal recruitment team in a fun and caring environment, which made Merkle | Periscopix the obvious choice.
