Jaleh was born in Lincoln but it wasn’t too long before she moved to Shakespeare’s land, Stratford-upon-Avon. Unlike Shakespeare, however, it was science that Jaleh had a passion for at a young age and the lures of studying microbiology at Bristol University were too strong to resist. Talking of resistance, Jaleh’s dissertation was on the fascinating subject of antibiotic resistance and after cruising through her degree and being ever the determined soul, Jaleh moved up to Scotland to in the hope of gaining a PhD in environmental microbiology at the University of Dundee and after another four years of education, this hope became a reality!
But it wasn’t all books and research for all those years. Jaleh is an enthusiastic baker and connoisseur of home cooking. Furthermore if you need a member on your quiz team who can answer Harry Potter and Disney related questions, then look no further! Jaleh’s go-to karaoke song is Hakuna Matata, which she can sing word for word using zero assistance from the screen with “no worries”. Jaleh is also not afraid to try new and daring activities, canoe polo being a stand-out, where drowning somebody is effectively a part of the rules – we think we’ll be staying clear of that one!
Jaleh’s previous job role was an energy analyst for Tata but a passion for digital advertising and programmatic activity inspired her decision to move to London and join Merkle | Periscopix. Jaleh’s analytical, logical mind combined with fantastic charisma make her a strong account manager in the programmatic team and the company as a whole.
