Born and raised in Gloucester, Helen attended an all-girls school for the majority of her life, where wearing a garish green and yellow uniform was the forced norm even if it wasn’t the most fashionable. Helen excelled in all areas of her academia leading to her studying Music, Mathematics, English and Philosophy & Ethics at A Level. Being a true all-rounder translated to her extra-curricular activities as well where you could often find her on the rugby field, on a trampoline, or playing piano or guitar in her spare time (not all at once though!).
After particularly excelling in Philosophy at A Level she went on to read it at the University of West England, achieving the highest grades in her year and hence winning a special prize for being the best of the best. Whilst she wasn’t studying Helen spent a month in Uganda helping to build a playground for underprivileged children and teaching them English, spending the whole month sleeping on the floor of a school classroom – dedication!
After completing her undergrad degree with ease Helen spent two and a half years in the beautiful Belgian city of Leuven studying for her Masters in Philosophy. By the end of this she was officially ‘Philosophyed-out’ which lead her into the equally fascinating world of Digital Marketing and Paid Social.
Being one of few people in the world who hates the smell and taste of bacon, you can find Helen avoiding the food-stuff in her spare time, as well as doing a bit of crotchet and dreaming about cats. We are thrilled that Helen decided to apply and accept her offer into the Paid Social team.
