Hailing from Suffolk’s 2006 “Village of the Year”, Ellarose shot to fame as a budding child model, donning parkas and trenches for an outerwear fashion mag before appearing as a phone-in viewer on Reggie Yates’ “Mighty Truck of Stuff” where she was cheated of the chance to win a van full of toys.
Having had ample time to recover from this bitter disappointment, she dabbled in car rental and bar work. Fortunately, not at the same time. On completion of her A-Levels, Ellarose took the 38-mile pilgrimage to University of East Anglia where, much like her Hollywood hero Forrest Gump, she had been offered a scholarship to study Marketing & Management. Unlike Forrest, Ellarose shied away from American football. Instead, she used her towering 5ft 4 frame to dominate the netball court in her downtime before putting her sporting prowess to the side to focus on caring for Tornado, Muffin, Fred and her other 12 tortoises.
Escaping East Anglia with a First, and supposedly without an accent, she travelled the breadth of Europe, quite literally losing herself in Berlin for 36 hours. Now residing in London as a Paid Search Account Manager, she is anything but lost in the digital landscape of PPC. Ellarose manages to stay grounded by continuing to mother her ever-growing “creep” of tortoises, but life in the fast lane resumes in the office as she relishes her role in the quickly evolving world of performance marketing.
