“Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.”

Allen Ginsberg

Proud Midlander Ciara is our resident “drama geek”. At school she threw herself into musicals, theatre, dancing and performing arts, so unsurprisingly went on to study Performing Arts, Media and English for A-levels. Ciara then went on to study English Literature at the University of Manchester, where she honed her creative and analytical skills to graduate with a 2:1.

After graduation, Ciara jetted off to the Philippines where she taught English to children and teenagers. She is probably the only person in the world who has managed to come back from an extended stay in the Philippines paler than she was before she left. Upon returning to her native Birmingham, Ciara went to work for the NSPCC, recruiting volunteers and doing project work. This soon led to a promotion and a move to London, and it was in this new role that she first came across PPC. It wasn’t long before she chose to pursue PPC as a career and decided that Periscopix was the perfect place to do so.

Ciara holds the company record for the most broken phones, including one that went in the washing machine, another that was run over by a bus, one down the loo and then finished off with a bake in the oven. She is the person to see about: experimental cooking (ask her about her signature dish – peanut butter on a jacket potato), being clumsy, and anything Ryan Gosling related.
