“I am Groot”

Chris joins Periscopix from the mythical-sounding town of Shirebrook, which is famous for both being the European HQ of much-maligned Sports Direct, and for being the town which ‘people from Mansfield look down on’. When he wasn’t beaming with pride about his place of birth, Chris excelled at school, both academically and in other pursuits, touring New Zealand with the rugby team and playing the trombone in the school band.

Chris’ academic expertise led to him winning a place at Magdalene College, Cambridge, to study History, where he specialised in studying the American Civil Rights Movement. Undoubtedly the highlight of Chris’ undergraduate degree, however, was being a reserve for his college’s University Challenge team. Literally days away from achieving his lifelong ambition of meeting Paxman himself, Chris’ dream was cruelly taken away from him when his College did not make the televised finals. There’s always the Periscopix Pub Quiz socials, Chris…

After graduating, Chris decided to take the much-travelled route into the wild world of recruitment, which is where he first stumbled across the beautiful world of paid search, and decided that he wanted to focus solely on PPC. You can catch him doubling your ROI quicker than you-know-who can say ‘Starter for Ten’.
