“The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.”

C.S. Lewis

Hailing from Salisbury, Wiltshire, Caroline is a country girl at heart. Growing up in the ‘city in the countryside’, at school Caroline was involved in any club and sport going. However, by her own admission, more often than not she was the recipient of the award for participation rather than taking a spot on the podium.

Caroline excelled at History in her A levels, which combined with her love for art naturally resulted in her studying History of Art at the University of St. Andrews. During her time there she was club secretary of the Dance Society, edited the university History of Art magazine and didn’t play any golf at all. Caroline achieved a First in her dissertation on early 20th century art, exploring changes in identity and gender. She also ran into the freezing cold North Sea at 5 a.m., which she insists is an annual tradition. After graduating, Caroline spent a brief spell in Portugal and Devon, and then moved to the big city to embark on her career in Pay Per Click advertising. She is our resident expert on looking after disabled cats, baking and classical dance.
