Specific ad - including a price

For an e-commerce website, a product specific campaign may be the best way to advertise using Pay Per Click. If your products are well known and might be searched by individual product name or part code, then you definitely want to show an ad to customers who search on that product name.

But you don’t want it to be a generic ad. You want it to be a specific ad for that product, that talks about the product, includes the current price and takes people to the landing page for that product.

Double your CTR - increase your ROI

So how does this help? Well we’ve seen that an ad that contains the price will roughly double the click-through rate for a person who is a potential buyer at that price point. If they’re not likely to buy at that amount, you’re less likely to pay for that click. And if a product goes out of stock and you’re not likely to convert it, turning off the ad group will save you paying for wasted clicks.

Our feed management technology makes it possible

All that sounds good, but how do you do it if you’ve got 10,000 products? This is where we come in. By taking a product feed from your e-commerce database we will use it with our proprietary tools to help us to build those products out into product-specific ads across all your products.

By using product names and part codes to generate the keyword list, and well-defined ad structures we can quickly and easily put together an extensive campaign. At every stage the keywords and ads are reviewed by a person to ensure high quality coverage.

Once the campaign has been built, we’ll download your product feed every night and compare it against the current campaign. We’ll update all prices and pause/restart ads based on the stock status. We will alert the campaign manager to any new products or special offers.

Add Product Extensions as well

By uploading your product feed to the Google Merchant Center we can activate Google’s “Product Extensions”. We connect your Google AdWords account to your Merchant Center account and set the campaigns up to show images of the products under the ads.

Not all campaigns will benefit from feed-based ppc management, but when they can we’ll implement the most advanced solution on the market.
