Sir Ranulph Fiennes conquers Everest

Last week, Marie Curie Cancer Care told us that Sir Ranulph Fiennes was on a low key attempt to conquer Everest so that their Google campaign could be prepared for the moment he reached the summit
We were not able to set the campaign to activate at a specific time so had to wait for a specific go-ahead. Sir Ranulph reached the Summit at approximately 1am this morning. The Marie Curie website had been updated by 2.30am and our Google campaign was adjusted and running by 3.30am, in time to catch the morning rush of PR, news and congratulations aimed at Sir Ranulph.
Sir Ranulph is looking to raise £3million and donations can be made on the Marie Curie Cancer Care website.
